Additional Tips

• Do not overuse this product. It is meant as a healing oil, not a moisturizer or daily conditioner.

• *Do not mix products – while there are no known interactions with any other products natural or otherwise, it is important to completely remove any other topical treatment that may have already been applied

• *Do not blanket dirty horses, or horses with thick coats! While many people think “rain rot” is caused by dirty coats of turnout horses getting wet, it shows up frequently on blanketed horses that are getting too warm and sweating under a blanket which causes a perfect environment for bacteria and fungus ! Do not share grooming tools between horses without cleaning/ disinfecting in between ( This can be easily accomplished by using a 10% bleach solution)

• *Do not pick at scabby areas ! Let the oil do the job of lifting them! It’s more comfortable for your horse and avoids the possibility of transferring pathogens on your hands to other horses.
